NORTH KANSAS CITY, Mo. — In the second day of the NCAA Bowling Tournament, the Sacred Heart University bowling team was narrowly knocked out of the championships in the fourth round on Thursday.
In an elimination bracket against Northeast Conference rival Duquesne — who they beat in round one — the Red and White secured a 2-1 victory to advance to the fourth round.
The team dropped 2-1 against No. 1 Mckendree in the final game of the Mega Match to conclude their seventh NCAA appearance.
