LAS VEGAS – Sacred Heart University women's bowling sophomore
Madilyn Yockel wrapped up play at the 2025 ISC Nationals in the final eight of the national tournament on Wednesday morning at the South Point Bowling Plaza in Las Vegas, Nev.
Yockel suffered a hard-fought 662-612 defeat to Amanda Granata from the newly-crowned NCAA Champions of Youngstown State. Yockel won the third game 228-203, but was not close enough to record the comeback victory.
Yockel was on fire in the first two rounds of match play yesterday. The Raymond, N.H., native defeated Elizabeth Rittenour of Lindenwood and No. 2-seeded Denise Blankenzee of Sam Houston State.
The Pioneers will kick off the ITC Nationals tomorrow morning with the opening ceremony starting at 7:30 a.m. PST.
