HAMILTON TOWNSHIP, N.J. — For the sixth consecutive season, the Sacred Heart University bowling program advanced to the Northeast Conference Championships with a 2-1 victory over Mount St. Mary's on Saturday.
In round two of the tournament, the Pioneers and the Mount faceoff in the loser's bracket to determine who goes home and who competes in the elimination contest against Duquesne.
Following the defeat of MSM, the Pioneers stomp out the Dukes with 2-0 win to battle the leagues top-seeded Fairleigh Dickinson on March 21 at 9 a.m.

- Amanda Shelters came in off the bench and tossed nine for 10 strikes, along with Rachel Bamford who struck 12 in 17 attempts.
- After the amazing start to the day, the team struggled with a low scoring 145 game then regrouped for four games over 200, however it was not enough to secure the win.
- Bamford shot 222 for her ten frames, alongside Shelters who tallied 215.
