HOPKINTON, N.H. — Grace Sousa and
Grace Miller highlighted a successful outing for the Sacred Heart University women's cross country team, picking up top-200 finishes at the NCAA DI Northeast Regional XC Championships on Friday morning.
Sousa and Miller finished in order for the Pioneers, taking home times of 22:53 and 22:55 on the six-kilometer course, placing 179
th and 182
nd overall, respectively to end the season. Senior
Kelly Parker grabbed 215
th to place third on the team, grabbing a finishing time of 23:19. Narrowly behind Parker,
Adriana Franzese and
Jessica Pigott finished the course alongside eachother to place inside the top 225 harriers.
Keegan Pepin and
Anna King rounded out the remaining harriers for the Pios on the day with both finishing closely behind Pigott. Pepin grabbed a finish of 230
th with a time of 23:31 while King took a 236
th place finish with a time of 23:36 to complete the 2024 cross country season for the Pioneers. Full results can be found here:
