Of Note:
Back-to-back errors by the Highlanders tied the second set 23-23. SHU couldn't grab the lead as NJIT put the set away with two kills.
The Pioneers had an 18-15 lead in the third set, but allowed the Highlanders to swing the momentum. Mark Berry's kill made it 24-23, but Martin Chavarria's kill completed the victory.
The Highlanders hit .221 while the Pioneers were limited to .113 and NJIT had a 34-22 advantage in digs.
Berry topped the Pioneers with 11 kills, which accounted for 41 percent of SHU's offense.
