Box Score PRINCETON, N.J. – The Sacred Heart men's volleyball team lost its fourth straight match by a score of 3-1 (14-25, 22-25, 25-21, 18-25) Saturday afternoon to the Princeton Tigers at Dillon Gym.

First Set: Princeton 25-14
- The Tigers hit .625 in the set, putting down 16 kills on 24 attempts with one error.
- SHU hung with Princeton early, but back-to-back errors gave the Tigers an 11-8 lead.
- Three straight kills from Parker Dixon and George Huhmann put Princeton ahead 14-9.
- The Tigers took the final five points of the set to win it 25-14.
Second Set: Princeton 25-22
- The two teams traded points to open the set, playing to an 11-11 tie.
- Princeton took a 13-11 lead on kills by Dixon and Junior Oboh. Highlighted by a Taylor Bloomquist ace, SHU rattled off three straight points to take a 14-13 lead.
- The Tigers won seven of the next 10 points, as a block by Oboh, Trey Sickler, and Greg Luck put Princeton ahead 20-17.
- SHU fought off one Princeton set point to make the score 24-22, but a Dixon kill gave the Tigers the set 25-22.
Third Set: SHU 25-21
- With the set tied 6-6, Princeton went on a 3-0 run capped by a Joe Kelly ace to take a 9-6 lead.
- SHU got two kills apiece from Rob Chatterton and Shawn Tischler to tie the set 13-13.
- The Pioneers took their first lead of the set since 2-1 at 16-15 on an Emerson Waumans kill.
- Back-to-back kills by Waumans and Connor Mahony gave SHU set point at 24-21. The Pioneers took the set with a Princeton error on the next point.
- SHU hit .467 in the set with 18 kills. Mahony had six kills and hit .556.
Fourth Set: Princeton 25-18
- A Waumans ace put SHU up 5-3 early in the set.
- Princeton took a 9-8 lead on a Dixon kill.
- Four straight Tigers points, highlighted by a block by Huhmann and Luck, put Princeton ahead 16-11.
- SHU would only get as close as four points the rest of the way.
Key Stats
- Bloomquist and Chatterton each led SHU with 11 kills. Bloomquist hit .474 for the match, with Chatterton posting a .368 hitting percentage.
- Noah Ricchetti had 42 assists.
- Dixon led Princeton with 20 kills, hitting .444.
