RESULTS

NEW YORK – The Sacred Heart men's track and field team is in sixth place with 10 points after the opening day at MAAC Indoor Championships at The Armony. A majority of the finals are set for Sunday. 
 
One of the highlights for the Pioneers came in the 400 where Lance Hayes posted the fastest time in the prelims, finishing in 48.66. He will race in the finals on Sunday. 
 
Jordan Leon qualified for the 800 final, posting the eighth fastest time (1:56.57). In the 200, Colin Brown posted the eighth fastest time (22.00) and will race in Sunday's final. 
 
In the high jump, Nazir Hibbert finished fifth with a leap of 1.93 meters. 
 
In the weight throw, Joshua Wood placed sixth with a toss of 16.30 meters. 
 
Sunday's finals start at 5 p.m.
