CHESTNUT HILL, Mass. – The Sacred Heart University baseball team fell to ACC opponent Boston College on the road Tuesday afternoon, 8-3. Three different Pios secured two hits on the day.

How it Happened:
Boston College secured four straight innings of scoring capitalizing on walks and stolen bases to take an early 5-0 lead.
Sacred Heart gained momentum in the sixth to add a run. With two runners on and two outs,
Ronan Donohue singled to left field to plate
Alex Ungar.
In the top of the seventh, the Pios tacked on two more. With one out,
Gavin Donohue tallied a base hit followed by a double from Ungar. With runners in scoring position,
Dante D'Amore flew out to plate G. Donohue.
Peter Link then brought in Ungar with a base hit.
The Eagles added three more in the eight to seal an 8-3 win.
The Pios relied heavily on their bullpen as they threw seven different arms.
Aidan Gray made his first career appearance throwing an inning of play.
