Securing his third double of the series, Dante D'Amore plated Alex Ungar in the bottom of the first to dampen the Peacocks lead, 4-1.

After keeping Saint Peter's bats quiet in the top second, SHU took the lead in bottom adding four runs. With runners on second and third, Ungar hit a hard ball right up the middle plating JW Fitzgerald and Link. With his second double on the day an fourth of the series, D'Amore plated Gavin Donohue and Ungar.

After a quiet two innings, Saint Peter's took a short-run lead. Tyler DeClusin was plated on a Pio error. With bases loaded Alex Manent laid down a bunt to plate Ethan Starks and a walk scored the third run for the 7-5 lead.

That lead was short-lived as SHU added five of their own in response. In his first at bat of the game, CJ Nolan tripled off the left center wall. Link then plated Nolan with a groundout. With two runners on, JW Fitzgerald reached on a fielder's choice, plating Joe Cilea. Ungar added three more with his second home run of the series.

Link added the eleventh and final run for the Pios with an inside the park home run to deep center field.
