The Sacred Heart University baseball team's fall ball schedule has seen a pair of adjustments. The Pioneers doubleheader originally scheduled for Sunday, October 12 at Bridgeport has been canceled due to expected inclement weather in the area.

Additionally, the Pioneers doubleheader vs Army has been changed and will now be a single nine-inning game on Sunday, October 19 against the Saint John's Red Storm. First pitch between the Pioneers and Red Storm is set for 1:00 p.m. at Saint John's Jack Kaiser Stadium.

Fairfield, Conn. – The Sacred Heart University baseball team will play a pair of fall ball doubleheaders in October to wrap-up its fall training season. The Pioneers will open up the fall play dates with the University of Bridgeport before traveling to West Point, N.Y. to face Army.

The local match-up between the Pioneers and Purple Knights is slated for Sunday, October 12 and will take place at Veterans Park with first pitch slated for 11:30 a.m.

The following weekend, the Pioneers will head to the prestigious West Point campus to face the Black Knights at Johnson Stadium at Doubleday Field on Sunday, October 19. First pitch against Army is set for 12:00 p.m.
