Box Score HAMDEN, CONN - There wasn't a doubt who was the better team Wednesday afternoon when the Sacred Heart men's soccer team faced in-state rival Quinnipiac, as SHU remained undefeated in Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference (MAAC) play with a 3-0 win at QU's Soccer & Lacrosse Stadium.

How it Happened:
In the fourth minute, Danny Istambouli had a wide-open opportunity and his shot gave SHU a 1-0 lead very early on.
In the 51st minute, First year Johan Bermudez made a nifty pass to create an open shot for Sophomore Ivan Morcillo moving swiftly around the Bobcat defense to create space for a shot that he ended up putting it in the back of the net to make it 2-0 Pios.
In the 82nd minute, Brady Poor made a no-look heel pass to Zach Lorenz, who sent a shot top-shelf for a highlight goal to make it 3-0.

- Istambouli and Lorenz scored their first goals of the season.
- Bermudez scored his first point of the season.
