FAIRFIELD, Conn. – The Sacred Heart University men's volleyball team defeated AIC in three quick sets Tuesday night, 3-0.
Aleksa Mandic and
Petr Beranek led the Pios with eight kills.

How It Happened:
The Pios took the first set in a smooth 23-14 victory. The Pios out-hit AIC .478 to .138 in percentage.
Aleksa Mandic led SHU with four kills.
SHU kept it closer in the second as the teams went head-to-head battling through five ties. Sacred Heart went on a 6-2 run to take the 15-10 lead at the media timeout.
The Pios' momentum propelled them through the remainder of the second as they secured the win, 25-16.
SHU cruised through the third, subbing in bench players to get the job done.
Zach Flynn tallied four kills and an ace off the bench for the Pios.
