How It Happened:
The Pioneers controlled the action in the first set, securing a convincing 25-15 victory. SHU won the first four points before building its advantage to seven by 13-6. The Pios led by as much as 10 in the frame, 24-14, on their way to a 1-0 advantage.
The Pioneers traded leads with the Chargers early in the second, but SHU pulled away on a 10-2 run to lead 15-8 at the media. The teams saw equal back-and-forth after the media, but SHU ultimately took the second 25-16.
Pioneers dominated the third securing the 25-18 victory.
