Box Score FAIRFIELD, Conn. – The Sacred Heart University women's tennis team improve their record to 13-3 defeating upcoming MAAC opponent, Fairfield University, 5-2.
 
In doubles play, Flavia Rambaldi and Vitalina Golod defeated the Stags 6-1 in the No. 2 spot. At No. 3 doubles, Ciara O'Toole and Aina Garriga secured the win in a 6-4 decision. Katsiaryna Starastsenka and Kim Fenton did not finish their match after the other two wins.
 
The Pioneers used their momentum to propel them through singles play. Starastsenka, won No. 1 singles in a 6-0, 6-1 decision. Ciara O'Toole defeated her No. 4 opponent 1-6, 6-4, 6-3. At No 5. singles, Olivia Kharkover secured the 6-4, 6-2 win. Aina Garriga defeated her opponent 6-1, 6-3 at No. 5 singles.
