EDISON, N.J. – In their debut season in the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference (MAAC), Sacred Heart women's tennis made an immediate impact, with three Pioneers earning All-MAAC honors, as announced by the league office on Thursday morning.
Ola Irla Bartyzel headlined the accolades, earning a spot on the All-MAAC First Team Singles after a standout first year campaign. The Mississauga, Ontario, native held down the top singles spot all season, finishing with an 8-7 dual match record and a strong 5-3 mark in conference play.
Bartyzel also teamed up with

Rounding out the Pioneers' all-conference selections was sophomore

Despite facing a challenging schedule in their first year in the MAAC, the Pioneers showed flashes of their bright future, finishing 5-13 overall and 2-6 in conference play.
