Box Score STATEN ISLAND, N.Y. – The Sacred Heart University women's tennis team defeated Northeast Conference (NEC) opponent Wagner, 7-0.
 
In doubles play, the Pioneers swept all three matches. Katsiaryna Starastsenka and Kim Fenton battled through a tie breaker in the No. 1 spot to come out on top 7-6. In the No. 2 spot, Flavia Rambaldi and Vitalina Golod secured the win in a 6-4, 6-3 decision. The pair has yet to drop a match this year. Ciara O'Toole and Aina Garriga picked up the final win in the No. 3 spot 6-1.
 
The Pioneers used their momentum to propel them through singles play. Starastsenka, Rambaldi, Golod, O'Toole and Garriga all secured a second win of the evening in singles play. Olivia Kharkover defeated Jade Schoenfeld in a 6-2, 6-2 decision at No. 6 singles.
