FAIRFIELD, Conn. – The Sacred Heart University men's soccer team fell to Quinnipiac at home Saturday night, 3-1.
David Garcia Gallego secured the lone goal for the Pios.

The two teams were scoreless in the first half seeing equal opportunity with six shots each.
The Bobcats broke the tension in the 70
th minute when they were awarded a penalty.
Quinnipiac took advantage of the momentum scoring just four minutes later when Sivert Ryssdalsnes put the ball in the low left corner of the net.
The Pios responded shortly after in the 80
th minute when
David Garcia Gallego skimmed the ball past the keeper in the low left corner.
The Bobcats sealed the 3-1 win in the last three seconds of the game from Luke Schierenbeck.
The second half of the game saw a lot of physicality resulting in a total of nine separate yellow cards and 25 fouls.
