TRUMBULL, Conn.— The Sacred Heart University women's tennis team secured back-to-back sweeps with a 7-0 victory over Stonehill on Saturday.
In doubles, the teams of
Aina Garriga and
Ciara O'Toole and
Flavia Rambaldi and
Katsiaryna Starastsenka improved to 2-0 in Northeast Conference play. The team of
Vitalina Golod and
Kim Fenton moved to 5-2 overall in duals.
The Pioneers earned all six wins in singles, including five of them in straight sets. The team now has an undefeated 12-0 record in the league. Starastsenka and O'Toole picked up their sixth dual victories of the season.
