TRUMBULL, Conn.— The Sacred Heart University men's tennis team improved to 2-1 in Northeast Conference play with a 7-0 sweep over Stonehill on Saturday.
 
The team of Lefteri Apostolou and Alberto Mello picked up its third-straight victory to improve to 3-0 in conference. The pair is now 9-6 overall on the season and 4-2 in duals.
 
Arya Alla, Antoine Hernandez and Matyas Vencl improved to 4-2 in dual singles. Apostolou and Vencl also notched their ninth overall victory.
 
Up next, the Pioneers travel to Bryant on Monday, Mar. 6, at 12 p.m.
