Box Score SMITHFIELD, R.I.— The Sacred Heart University men's tennis team fell at Bryant, 5-2, on Monday.
 
The Pioneers took the doubles point on wins from the teams of Lefteri Apostolou and Alberto Mello and Matyas Vencl and Darius Eftekhar. 
 
The Bulldogs won the first two singles matches to take the 2-1 lead. Vencl tied the match with a straight-set decision against Myles Peterson 6-4, 6-4. But that was as far as SHU could get as Bryant won the final three matches.
 
Up next, the Pioneers return to the Tennis Club of Trumbull to play Fairfield on Wednesday at 11 a.m.
