- Merrimack jumped out to a 2-0 lead off a two-run home run in the top of the first inning by Jenna Wike.
- The Warriors added to their lead in the following inning with another two-run home run this time by Courtney Lanpher to increase the Merrimack lead to 4-0.
- The Pioneers answered two innings later with an RBI groundout to third base scoring in Grace Saad from third to narrow the Merrimack lead to 4-1.
- An inning later, Maighread Scafariello hit a sacrifice fly to left field scoring in Cayla Nista to tighten the Warriors lead to 4-2.
- The Warriors game back in the bottom of the sixth inning as they ripped a pair of RBI doubles scoring in three runs to secure the 7-2 victory.

- The Pioneers jumped out to a 1-0 lead in the top of the first inning off an RBI single to Amy Petrovich to put SHU ahead 1-0.
- Merrimack countered in the bottom half of the inning off a single to third base to even the score at 1-1.
- The Pioneers answered back as Alyssa Gonzalez launched a two-run home run to center field to put SHU ahead 3-1.
- Grace Saad followed in the fifth inning with an RBI double to left field scoring in Kylee Harvey to give SHU a 4-1 lead.
- In the same inning Emily Carroll ripped an RBI single to right field scoring in Saad to give the Pioneers a 5-1 lead.
- The Warriors countered with three runs in the bottom of the fifth inning off two RBI doubles and a passed ball to cut the SHU lead to 5-4.
- Merrimack then tallied five runs in the sixth inning off a pair of home runs to give the Warriors the 9-5 victory.
