Of Note:
- The Pioneers jumped out to 2-0 lead as Amy Petrovich ripped an two RBI single to center field scoring in Victoria LoPinto and Kylee Harvey.
- After four scoreless innings following the Petrovich RBI double, Central Connecticut evened the score up at 2-2 as Meg Gorman hit a single to left field scoring in two runs in the top of the fifth inning.
- Sacred Heart responded in the bottom of the inning as Grace Saad ripped an RBI single to left field to put the Pioneers ahead 3-2.
- The Blue Devils were the last ones to score in the top of the sixth inning off an home run by Kim Howard and an RBI single to the shortstop to give Central Connecticut the 4-3 victory.
