Of Note:
- The Pioneers jumped out to a 1-0 lead in the top of the first inning as Victoria LoPinto launched an RBI triple to right center scoring in Kylee Harvey.
- SHU continued the scoring in the following inning and Kylee Gurysh reached first on a fielding error which scored in Jenna Mowad to put the Pioneers ahead 2-0.
- In the fourth inning Harvey ripped an RBI single down the right field line which scored in Hailie Ebert to put the Pioneers ahead 3-0.
- Manhattan countered in the bottom half of the inning in which Kaitlyn Flood launched a home run to left field scoring in two runs to narrow the SHU lead to 3-2.
- The Pioneers responded in the top of the fifth as Alyssa Gonzalez fired her ninth home run of the season to put Sacred Heart ahead 4-2.
- The Jaspers tallied one more run in the bottom of the sixth off a home run by Marika Deemer to result in the 4-3 Pioneer victory.
