- The Pioneers jumped out to an 3-0 lead in the top of the second inning off an error, passed ball and an RBI single by Grace Saad.
- LIU countered in the bottom half of the inning as they tallied five runs in the inning off three RBI singles and one home run by Angelina Reno to put the Sharks ahead 5-3.
- The Sharks scored three more runs in the bottom of the sixth inning to result in the 8-3 loss.

- The Sharks jumped out to a 1-0 lead in the bottom of the second inning off a home run by Maya Avila.
- The Pioneers answered in the top of the third inning as Grace Saad ripped an RBI single to left field to even the score at 1-1.
- LIU responded in the bottom half of the inning as Ryleigh Bermea fired a home run to give the Sharks a 2-1 lead.
- In the sixth inning Alyssa Gonzalez would tie the game up at 2-2 off a home run then followed a batter later with a two-run home run by Amy Petrovich to give the Pioneers a 4-2 lead.
- The Sharks rallied back in the bottom half of the inning as they tallied seven runs in the inning which featured another home run by Bermea scoring in three runs to give the Sharks the 9-4 victory.
