- They tacked on two more runs in the inning off an error and RBI single to left field to make the score 3-0.
- An RBI single by Kaia Bonshock would result in the 4-0 shutout.
- Carly Koltko threw a game-high seven strikeouts and pitched her first collegiate career game in the circle.
