FAIRFIELD, Conn. – Following two tough losses over the weekend, the Sacred Heart University men's volleyball team got back into the win column on Tuesday. The Pioneers dismissed AIC, 3-0 (25-11, 25-13, 25-14).

Of Note:
Sacred Heart was too much for AIC on both sides of the net, hitting .471 while limiting the Yellow Jackets to .016. Sacred Heart also had 10 aces.
 
The Pioneers took control of set one thanks to an 8-2 run that included five AIC miscues. Setter Tyler Kwinta rattled off nine-straight points at the start of set two, including a trio of aces. Jacob Peterson had three kills during a 5-0 run in set three to put the match out of reach.
 
Five different players had five or more kills, top by seven from rookie Asa LaBreche who also added a team-high five digs. Peterson chipped in a half dozen, as did Ife Loverton who factored into four of SHU's five blocks.
