- CSUN tallied one more run coming in the top of the fourth inning off an RBI single to left center to seal the 4-0 victory.

- Cal Baptist tallied six runs in the bottom of the first inning to take a 6-0 lead after one.
- The Lancers recorded five more runs in the following inning off a pair of RBI doubles and singles.
- SHU avoided the shutout in the top of the third inning as Jenna Mowad ripped an RBI double to right center scoring in Kylee Harvey to narrow the Cal Baptist lead to 11-1.
- The Pioneers were unable to tighten the Cal Baptist lead after the lone run resulting in the 11-1 loss.
