- SHU took a 1-0 lead in the bottom of the fourth inning as Alyssa Gonzalez launched her fifth home run of the season to put the Pioneers in the lead.Â
- The Pioneers added onto their lead in the fifth inning with an RBI single by Myah Eldred to put SHU ahead 2-0.Â
- The Saints countered in the following inning as they tacked on three runs off an RBI double to left field and an two-run home run to give Siena the eventual 3-2 victory.Â
