- The Pioneers took an early 1-0 lead in the bottom of the first off an RBI single by Grace Saad.
- The River Hawks answered in the top of the second with a home run by Lea White to even the score at 1-1.
- SHU tallied two runs in the following inning off a sacrifice fly by Emily Carroll followed by a score by Grace Saad off a wild pitch to give the Pioneers a 3-1 lead.
- UMass Lowell would tie the game up at 3-3 off a pair of RBI doubles by Olivia Labbe and Brenna Davenport.
- Jenna Mowad gave the Pioneers the lead off an RBI single to second scoring in Kylee Harvey sending SHU into the final inning with a 4-3 edge.
- A two-run home run by Labbe in the top of the seventh would give the River Hawks the 5-4 victory at the end of the game.

- Both sides were held scoreless until the bottom of the third inning when Jenna Mowad ripped a single to the shortstop scoring in Myah Eldred to put SHU ahead 1-0.
- SHU tallied four more runs between the fourth and fifth innings with a pair of home runs by Alyssa Gonzalez and Grace Saad to give SHU a 5-0 lead.
- UMass Lowell countered in the top of the sixth inning a with a pair of runs off an RBI double by Lea White and an RBI single by Riley White to cut the SHU lead to 5-2.
- But the Pioneers answered back in the bottom of the inning with a solo shot by Gonzalez and an sacrifice fly by Maighread Scafariello to give SHU 7-2 victory.
