MANCHESTER, N.H. — Nicole Guidi's goal early in the third period to take the lead for the Sacred Heart University women's ice hockey team at Saint Anselm wasn't enough. The Pioneers dropped a close, 3-2, contest in overtime on Saturday.

Alexa Ocel capitalized on the short-handed Hawks to even the score 1-1 off the sticks of Paige McNeil and Kennedy Spiering with less than two and a half minutes remaining in the second.
The Red & White didn't wait long to score again as Guidi's quick goal from Anna Klein 23 seconds into the final period put the team up, 2-1.
SAC snapped the visitors' lead at 14:27 in the third to force overtime, where the Hawks scored the winning shot less than two minutes in.
Frankie Sanchez robbed 28 shots between the posts for her most against Saint Anslem this season.
