MANCHESTER, N.H. — In the third head-to-head contest this season with Saint Anselm, the Sacred Heart University women's ice hockey team fell on the road, 3-0. The Pioneers landed in the losing column against the Hawks for the first time since 2019 on Friday.

The Hawks tapped in the game-winner seconds after the killed powerplay by the Red & White at the 17:14 mark in the first period.
The host team bookended their last pair of points in the second period, including a shorthanded goal with less than two minutes remaining to put Saint Anselm up, 3-0.

Frankie Sanchez nabbed 26 saves for her highest save percentage against the Hawks this season at .929.
The visitors outshot SAC, 44-29, but couldn't find the back of the net.
