SPRINGFIELD, Mass. – On the road for the first time this season, the Sacred Heart University men's volleyball team looked just as comfortable as it does in the Pitt Center. The Pioneers topped American International College, 3-0 (25-14, 25-16, 25-13), on Tuesday.

The match was over when the Pioneers went on a 10-1 run in the third set that was sparked by
Tyler Kwinta and
Ife Loverton aces.

Sacred Heart was dominant in all phases of the game, holding the advantage in kills (38-20), aces (11-2) and digs (24-12).

Patrick Mucherino topped the Pioneers with nine kills, followed by Berry, McClung and
Carlos Santa Cruz with a half dozen each.
Cole Younger produced a match-high 10 digs.Â
