Box Score NORTH ANDOVER, Mass.— The Sacred Heart University men's soccer team's unbeaten streak snapped with a 2-0 loss at Merrimack in Northeast Conference action on Sunday.
 
The game was scoreless throughout the first half. In the 61^st minute, Merrimack took a 2-0 deficit after Johan Feilscher and Min Jun Jang tallied one goal apiece a minute apart. Alessandro Negri extended the Warriors' lead on a free kick in the 69^th minute.
 
Senior Justin Siegel recorded five saves and is now 13^th overall in program history in career stops.
 
Sacred Heart took 13 shots with seven on target while Merrimack had 15 with eight in the net.  In addition, the Pioneers led 3-0 in corner kick opportunities.
 
Despite the loss, the Pioneers secure a berth in the 2022 NEC Men's Soccer Tournament. Sacred Heart will await its seeding for the tournament at the end of the regular season.
