- SHU jumped out to an early lead as junior Braeden Tuck scored his eighth goal of the season three minutes into the opening period to give SHU a 1-0 edge.
- The Pioneers answered again midway through the second period as junior Logan Britt tallied his third goal of the season coming 10:15 in the second period to put SHU ahead 2-0.
- Just 18 seconds into the third period, senior Austin Magera found the back of the net for his fifth goal of the year to put SHU ahead 3-0.
- Neil Shea capped off the victory 15:57 into the period as he notched his fifth goal of his junior campaign which led to the 4-2 victory.
- Magera tallied his fifth multi-point game of the year.
- Britt recorded his third straight multi-point game.
- This is the first win against the Black Knights since February 21, 2020.
