Of Note:

• AIC pulled ahead to a 1-0 lead in the first period with a goal from Justin Young with 11:19 remaining.
• AIC continued scoring in the second period with a goal coming 7:54 into the period off of Jake Stella to put the Yellow Jackets ahead 2-0.
• SHU countered the AIC offensive later in the period as senior Austin Magera found the open lane to narrow the AIC lead to 2-1.
• After AIC scored another goal in the second, senior Nick Boyagian cut the lead to one as he fired his second goal of the season 12:31 into the third period to make the score 3-2.
• The Yellow Jackets then scored a last second empty-net goal by Austen Long which resulted in the 4-2 defeat.
• Magera recorded his sixth multi-point game of the season.
• Boyagian scored his first goal since October 23.
