- Senior Austin Magera got the Pioneers on the scoreboard with an extra-man goal coming 8:43 into the first period to give SHU a 1-0 lead.
- Bentley's Michael Zuffante responded in the final two minutes with a power-play goal to even the score at 1-1.
- The Falcons scored three goals in the second period before sophomore Andrius Kulbis-Marino tallied his fourth goal of the season with 1:28 remaining to cut the Bentley lead to 4-2.
- While on the man advantage, sophomore John Jaworski fired his second goal of the series to narrow the Falcon lead to 4-3 with 11:41 left in the third period.
- Jaworski recorded his second multi-point game of the year.
