- The Pioneers jumped out to a 2-0 lead in the first off a pair of power-play goals from sophomore John Jaworski (8:41) and senior Ryan Steele (11:07).
- Two more SHU goals came in the second period with a pair of defensemen scoring with goals from Rourke Russell and Logan Britt 4:06 and 15:16 into the period.
- Todd Goehring topped off the victory with a goal in the third off a breakaway set up by Neil Shea 8:45 into the period to take a 5-0 lead.
- Junior Neil Shea upped his point streak to eight with an assist in the third period.
- Senior Nick Boyagian tallied a single-game high three assists.
- Junior Logan Britt tallied his third multi-point game of the year.
