- Junior Neil Shea continued on his point streak with a pair of assists. His point streak is now is up to seven on the year.
- Senior Ryan Steele tallied his seventh goal of the season.
- The Pioneers recorded their second largest amount of shots on goal on the year with 39.
- RIT jumped out to a 3-0 lead heading into the final period as they tallied two goals in the first period 7:08 and 9:34 into the game.
- The Tigers added one more in the second on the power-play from Nick Bruce 13:36 into the period.
- SHU attempted a comeback as senior Ryan Steele fired a long distance shot from the blue line off feeds from Kevin Lombardi and Neil Shea to tighten the RIT lead to 3-1.
- Then in the closing minutes, Andrius Kulbis-Marino found the open hole to score his third goal of the year to cut the Tiger lead to one, 18:38 into the period.
- RIT held off the extra man advantage in the closing minute to result in the 3-2 defeat.
