Box Score NORWICH, Conn. — For his tenth save this season, Sacred Heart University reliever Brendan Coffey kept LIU off the scoreboard to clinch a 5-4 triumph and send the Sharks back to their tank on day two of the Northeast Conference Championship.

- Coffey cleaned up a messy sixth with the bases loaded and no outs. He pitched a scoreless four innings with five strikeouts.
- The Red and White led 4-0 through the first four innings initiated by Joe Emerson in the top of the second inning. Emerson's single up the middle allowed Danny Glendon and Robert Farruggio to cross the plate to put the Pioneers up 2-0.
- In the sixth, Justin Jordan singled to left field to send Emerson home with the eventual winning run.
- Tyler Briggs threw for 0.1 innings for his fourth win.
