WEST POINT, N.Y.- The Sacred Heart University men's ice hockey team ended 2021 with a 4-1 loss to Army West Point on Thursday night.

  • Junior Braeden Tuck scored the lone goal for SHU coming 5:43 into the second period for his sixth of the year.
  • Sophomore Ryan Doolin tallied his first collegiate point with an assist on the Tuck goal.
  • Army jumped out to a 1-0 lead in the first off the stick of Kendrick Frost 17:08 into the period.
  • SHU responded in the second period with Braeden Tuck's sixth goal of the season to even the score at 1-1.
  • The Black Knights then scored three unanswered goals all in the second period to walk away with the 4-1 victory.
