The Pioneers hit the road for their final away contest of the regular season at Merrimack on October 28 at 7 p.m.

Of Note
In the final two minutes, the two teams fought for possession of a loose ball off a corner kick. Ludkiewicz capitalized on a rebound off the keeper for the game-winning tally. The goal is the junior's first of the season and second of her career.

Sacred Heart fired double-digit shots in both halves as it posted a season-high 28 shots. The mark is the most that the team has attempted since 2019 when the Red & White tallied 32 against Saint Peter's.

Freshman Grace O'Hara led the charge as she tied her season-best of eight shots and five on goal. Four Pioneers posted three or more shots including Nichol Green (4), Maria Nolan (3), Desiree Crawford (3) and Ludkiewicz (3).

The Red & White refused to allow LIU of a corner opportunity as they led with 11.

The Pioneers continue their six-year undefeated streak against the Sharks. Despite posting a 1-1 last spring, Sacred Heart has yet to fall to LIU since 2015.
