Smithfield, RI. – The Sacred Heart University women's soccer team fell to the Bryant University Bulldogs 2-0, on the road Wednesday night in Smithfield, Rhode Island.

How it Happened:
The Pioneers struggled to generate offense tonight, while their defense did its best to bend but not break. The Bulldogs struck first within the opening 45 minutes, and although Sacred Heart had a few promising pushes, they were unable to register many shots on goal.
Casey Mulligan entered in net to start the second half, and the Pioneers began to create more chances.
Martyna Krzysztopik nearly tied the game in the 66th minute, but her shot was denied by a strong save. The Bulldogs extended their lead in the 79th minute, sealing the match with a 2–0 final score.

- The Pioneers had seven shots in the second half compared to only one in the first
- Sacred Heart took five corners compared to Bryant's six
