BRIDGEPORT, Conn.- A late third period goal sent by Ryan Steele sent the Sacred Heart University men's ice team into overtime at 2-2 before a 2-1 shootout win propelled the Army West to earn the extra point in the conference standings.

• SHU struck first as a senior Josh Allan scored his first career goal at 7:46 into the first period to put SHU ahead 1-0.
• Army would score two goals heading into the third period including the go-ahead goal by Tucker DeYoung at 18:37 in the second to put Army West Point ahead 2-1 heading into the third period.
• At 6:51 into the third period, junior Ryan Steele notched his fourth goal of the year off a pair of assists by Marc Johnstone and Grant Anderson to send the game into over-time.
• No scoring would occur in the overtime period as the game would head to a shootout.
• Army clinched the shootout victory 2-1 after rounds to earn the extra point in the Atlantic Hockey standings.
