BOSTON – The Sacred Heart University men's ice hockey team placed 25 Pioneers on the Atlantic Hockey America (AHA) All-Academic Team, announced by the league office on Wednesday afternoon.
The AHA All-Academic Team honors student-athletes who posted a GPA of 3.0 or above for both semesters of the 2024-25 academic year.
John Driscoll, Cole Galata and Jeremi Tremblay all earned special recognition as 2024-25 AHA Student-Athletes of the Year after posting 4.0 GPAs.
Today's honor caps an impressive season for the Pios on the ice and in the classroom. As a team, SHU ranked second among all male Pioneers' programs with a team GPA of 3.76 this spring.
AIC led the way with 29 All-Academic Team honorees, followed by Bentley (27), Robert Morris (26), Mercyhurst (25), Sacred Heart (25), Niagara (24), Canisius (23), Holy Cross (20), RIT (19), Air Force (15), and Army West Point (15).
