WEST POINT, N.Y.- Two late goals in the second period were enough to give Army West Point a 2-1 victory over the Sacred Heart University men's ice hockey team. SHU will look to even the home-and-home series tomorrow night at 6:05pm for SHU's home-opener at Webster Bank Arena.

Of Note:  

• SHU struck first as a power-play goal by junior Austin Magera off a pair of assists by senior Josh Allan and sophomore Braeden Tuck at 8:16 in the first period put SHU ahead 1-0.
• Magera scored his first goal of the season adding to his 3 assists on year.
• Army West Point answered right back in the second period as a short-handed goal by Army's leading goal scorer Colin Bilek 2:08 into the period evened the score at 1-1.
• Near the midway point of the second Army would score the second and game-winning goal coming off the stick of John Zimmerman which was enough to hold Army to a 2-1 victory.
• SHU held-off the Black Knights power-play to going just 0-5 in the game.
