Box Score WORCESTER, Mass.- The Sacred Heart University men's ice hockey team looked for the two-game road sweep of Holy Cross this afternoon but Holy Cross had other answers as they defeated the Pioneers by a final score of 6-3 on Sunday.

First Period
- Holy Cross jumped on the board early with an power-play goal from Alex Peterson 1:14 in the period.
- The Pioneers answered back six minutes later with a goal by Marcel Godbout off assists from Emil Ohrvall and Grant Anderson.
- At 9:29 into the period, SHU took the lead with a goal off the stick of junior Ryan Steele for his second of the season with an assist by sophomore Patrick Dawson.
- The Crusaders would even the score at 2-2, 12:39 into the period with a goal by Michael Kane from Grayson Constable and Bryce Dolan.
Second Period
- Holy Cross controlled the period as SHU was outshot 9-3.
- The Crusaders tallied two goals coming from Logan Milliken (15:25) and Peterson (16:09) to put Holy Cross ahead 4-2.
Third Period
- The Pioneers would have two power-play opportunities midway through the period but were unable to capitalize.
- SHU was aggressive in the period firing 11 shots on goal while holding Holy Cross to five.
- Holy Cross would tally two more goals in the game coming off the sticks of Logan Ferguson (10:43) and Jack Robilotti (16:49).
- SHU would salvage one more goal in the game as the sophomore Kevin Lombardi slipped a goal passed Gordon to result in a 6-3 outcome.
