NEWARK, N.J.- The Sacred Heart University Women's Tennis team fell to NJIT this afternoon by a final score of 7-0. The Pioneers will return to action on Friday, January 31 when the travel to West Point, N.Y. to take on Army. Matches begin at 4:00 p.m.

SHU was only able to salvage one set win the matches as senior Brianne Lauria picked up the set win against Mouna Bouzgarrou but eventually fell 4-6, 6-4, 10-8. The rest of the matches were all taken in straight sets including doubles play.
