Box Score TEANECK, N.J. – The Sacred Heart University baseball team defeated Fairleigh Dickinson on the road, 13-6 Saturday afternoon. With the win, the Pioneers improve to 7-17 and 3-2 in the NEC, while Fairleigh Dickinson falls to 4-18-1 on the season and 2-3 in NEC-play.
Ryan LaMay got the start and earned the win after giving up two runs on six hits and striking out five in six innings of work. Austin Markmann went 4-for-6 in the win, while Justin Jordan, Isiah Daubon and Stephen Thibault all homered in the win.

After FDU cut the SHU lead to 6-5 after eight innings of play, the Pioneers scored seven runs in the ninth

FDU scored a run in the ninth but it wasn't enough as the Pioneers held on for the 13-6 victory
