WORCESTER, Mass. - The Sacred Heart women's hockey team won, 2-1, against Holy Cross on Sunday.

Sacred Heart's Katie Stueve scored in the first period from Taylor Moreland and Jayne Lewis at the 11:15 mark.

SHU's second would come in the second period. Taylor Moreland netted at the 19:42 mark from Jayne Lewis and Katie Stueve with less than one minute remaining. 

Holy Cross would get a goal back on the power play with Violette scoring from Sam Girard and Antonia Matzka. 

Sarah Erban (3-2-0) reocrded 27 saves and SHU went 0-3 on the power play and Holy Cross went 1-1

SHU are back in action Friday Nov. 17 against Franklin Pierce at 7:30 pm at the Sports Centre of Connecticut.
