Box Score NEW HAVEN, Conn.— The Sacred Heart women's soccer team dropped the final game of the Yale Classic to host, Yale 4-0 on Sunday morning. The Pioneers were shut out for the second straight contest.
Yale (2-0-0) made the most of their aggressive attack, with 14 shots on the game. While Sacred Heart (1-2-1) were held to just five shots. The Bulldogs got going in the 14th minute on a Sofia Griff goal, on a cross by Michelle Alozie. Alozie then netted her first goal of the game in the 29th minute, assisted by Aerial Chavarin. Karina Kovalcik got the last goal of the first half on a rebound off Chavarin shot. In 60th minute, Alozie scored again, this time a header from Meg Byfield's pass off Carlin Hudson free kick miss to seal the final at 4-0.
Sacred Heart's next game is at VCU on Friday, September 2 at 7:30pm as part of the VCU Invitational.

- Olivia Crema shot is saved by Jane Buckley in the 53 minute.
- Alozie scores second goal, assisted by Byfield off Hudson's free kick at the 60 minute mark.
- Crema has header saves by Alyssa Fagel in the 82nd minute.
